What to expect during a session
An RTT session begins and ends in similar ways to a standard hypnotherapy session, however, the middle part of the session is a little more interactive.
The session begins with a consultation to discuss the issue that is to be dealt with, establish the medical history and answer any questions or queries that you may have prior to the session. You will then take a seat in our comfy recliner where you will be taken through a relaxing induction into hypnosis. Whilst you are in a relaxed and comfortable state of hypnosis, your therapist will work with you to establish the root cause of the issue you are experiencing; identifying this core reason leads to a profound understanding of the issue and opens the gateway for resolving that issue. There are various methods within the RTT modality that your therapist has on hand to work through your issue under hypnosis and your therapist will select the best one, or ones, for your particular situation. Your therapist will then make suggestions which relate to the root cause that has been identified as well as suggestions which align with your desired outcome. As you concentrate on the voice of your therapist, your mind will focus on the positive and therapeutic suggestions that are being said, these will be repeated and may be accompanied by positive imagery to reinforce the suggestion and the desired outcome. You will then be brought slowly and comfortably back to your usual awareness and you can discuss your session and ask any questions that you may have. An RTT session takes approximately 2 hours.

Whilst Hypnotherapy is a safe and non-invasive therapy it is not recommended for those who suffer from epilepsy, personality disorders or psychosis.
