Your Therapist - Tracy Joseph
I have always had an interest in psychology and the workings of the mind. I find it fascinating how one thing can be a pleasure for one person, yet the worst nightmare for another, how some people can quit habits with will power alone, but others just cannot no matter how hard they try. I also developed an interest and understanding of how what we think and what we say impacts on a person’s life experience. Having witnessed friends and family members struggling with various issues I delved into researching the workings of the mind to find some answers and helpful resolutions. I am also a mother and want to be armed with the best knowledge and tools I can to help my children navigate their way through the many emotions, obstacles and pressures that come with growing up.
During my research, I came across the method of Marisa Peer, one of the UK's best therapists, called Rapid Transformational Therapy. On seeing the impact that the method had on people who were struggling with truly life limiting issues, as well as how quickly the profound changes could be achieved I decided to train in the method and became a Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner to enable me to help as many people as possible achieve the changes they need to live the best life possible. I am also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist having trained at the College of Clinical and Medical Hypnosis. I love hypnotherapy as a modality because it is a non-invasive therapy, does not rely on chemicals or pills, is suitable for almost everybody and can have a life changing impact, often in a short space of time. The scope and effectiveness of hypnotherapy continues to amaze and impress me every day and as its benefits become more well known and it is more accepted as a mainstream alternative therapy, more and more people will be able to achieve freedom from the issues that restrict them.
Whilst I was initially drawn to practicing Hypnotherapy as a way to help with the various issues of people close to me, having experienced the scope and success of the modality my desire for doing this work has intensified and my objective now is to help as many people as I can to achieve freedom from their limiting beliefs and to live the best life possible. The increasing presence and influence that social media has on our lives, especially the younger generations, is creating unprecedented pressure and expectations and it is my intention to empower my clients and give them the tools they need to deal with this difficult, and sometimes brutal, environment and to know, unquestionably, that they are enough.
I am very passionate and professional about my work; all sessions are carried out in a relaxed and confidential environment. I am registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register and the CNHC and am fully insured. I am an approved RTT Practitioner and actively take part in continuing professional development to ensure that my skills and knowledge are continually improved and updated.
